What To Know About Wisdom Teeth

What Are Wisdom Teeth?

Your wisdom teeth are located in the back corners of your mouth and typically develop between the ages of 17 and 24. Unfortunately, most people don’t have the space in their mouth to accommodate these teeth. This causes pain, soreness, crowding, and other problems — especially as you age.

Do Wisdom Teeth Always Need to Be Removed?
The best answer is, it depends. Everybody’s oral health is unique. Sometimes, taking a wait-and-see approach to wisdom tooth removal is okay. If your wisdom teeth are causing problems, then we’d recommend an extraction as soon as possible. Especially for teenagers, getting wisdom teeth extracted is a proactive way to prevent painful impaction, gum inflammation, and other issues in the future.

As you can see, there’s a lot to consider. We’ll help you make the best decision for your mouth and your health.

Does Wisdom Tooth Removal Hurt?

we  will make sure you’re comfortable and properly numb or sedated during the procedure. After the extraction, you may experience some soreness as your mouth heals. We’ll provide at-home care instructions for minimizing discomfort. You’ll be back to normal in no time!

What can I say what a ride! I have been going here for the last 3 years to fix the teeth I thought I didn’t need to fix until I really had a look! I’ve only just had my braces removed after a long journey with Latika and the girls my teeth look bloody amazing ! I was terrified of going to the dentist it had been a while but Latika held my hand the whole way through even when I harassed her every week to find out when my braces were coming off, she held my shoulder when I was having a sook . All the staff are always so lovely and friendly every-time , always happy to fix my appointments around work and kids and it’s kinda sad my journey has nearly been over after two covid lock downs and floods and everything else that has happened. I’ve now had a chip fixed at the front of my teeth and one more appointment to go and my teeth will be perfecto ! Thank you Latika , Isobel , Taylor and Kathleen your all amazing , I might have to eat some apples so I can visit them again soon ❤️
